1.2 Creating an Instructor Account
You must have an instructor-verified LibreOne account to use ADAPT. This account will give you access to nearly all of the LibreTexts tools and interfaces. Your students will be able to access the assessments for your class either through Canvas or using their ADAPT account, according to your preferences.
IMPORTANT NOTE: Your account must be verified before you can use ADAPT. It is highly recommended that you start the registration process at least a few days before you want to use it. Read all of the instructions below so you know what to expect.
Instructions:

- If you don't already have one, register for a LibreOne account Links to an external site.. This is required to access to all the LibreTexts platforms, including ADAPT.
- Enter your school email address (must end in .edu so you can be verified) and password and click "Create account". Alternatively, if your campus uses Google for Education or Microsoft Education, you can register for an account with either of those options.
- You will be sent a confirmation code to the email address you just entered. Copy the code & paste it in the box on the LibreTexts email confirmation page and click Continue.
- Follow the prompts to enter your name
- Role (instructor)
- Institution
- Time zone.
- You will get a message indicating your registration is complete. Click Continue to complete the instructor verification process.
- Lastly, you need to start the verification process by providing the URL to your campus biography page and any additional supporting information. If you do not have a campus biography page, use the URL for any other authoritative page from your campus with your name.
- Leave LibreTexts applications blank. Your LibreOne account will give you access to ADAPT and most other LibreTexts interfaces.
- The special libraries section is for those who want access to the Spanish language library or other special libraries. In most cases, it will be left blank.
- Click Submit to finish the process.
