Finding Resources in ADAPT

My Courses

When you log in to ADAPT Links to an external site., you will see your current courses. This is your landing page for your curated courses. If you have just created your account, it will show that "you currently have no courses." When you create a new course or import a course, it will show up here. More on that in 1.4 Importing Courses.

Support

If you click "Support" in the upper right corner, you will be directed to the following options:

• Contact Support Links to an external site. will get you in touch with LibreTexts staff who can answer questions on ADAPT. 
• The Insight Knowledge Base Links to an external site. has extensive articles and videos on using ADAPT. 
• Check System Status Links to an external site. will show you if any LibreTexts sites are not operating correctly. 

Dashboard

If you click the blue "Dashboard" button, you will see navigation links to various parts of the ADAPT open homework system. In this module, you will learn how to import courses, assignments, and questions from some of these places. 

Your Name

Lastly, if you click on "Hi, [Your Name]!," you will see a link to your account settings and a link to log out.

Previewing Courses, Assignments, and Questions

From the blue Dashboard button, you can navigate to where you search for and preview courses, assignments, and questions. This example will walk you through previewing a course found in the Commons Collection. When you select Commons from the Dashboard, you will see all the courses that appear in the LibreTexts Commons Homework library Links to an external site.. Each course is listed in a table that includes the discipline, the title of the course with a link to the course and its assignments, a description of the course, and more actions, which includes previewing the assignments and the ability to download the course into your My Courses area.

Seeing all Assignments in a Course

Clicking on the eyeball icon in the Actions column will bring up a list of all the assignments within the course.

Previewing all Assignments in a Course

Clicking on the course title will open the course page where you can see more details about its assignments. The table that appears includes a link to each assignment, the number of questions in the assignment, and a description (if one was entered by the creator).

Previewing Questions in an Assignment

Clicking on an assignment will allow you to preview all questions in that assignment. This preview allows you to:

1. See the name of the assignment
2. See and copy the ADAPT ID of the question (this is needed if you want to import the question)
3. See, click on, and preview all questions in the assignment
4. Filter questions in the assignment by question-type (auto-graded or open-ended)
5. Clone the question
6. Save the question to your favorites
7. View the question and its possible answers (if auto-graded)
8. View the open license of the question
