The college years are a time when it is easy to neglect dental care. For younger students parents usually have been involved in arranging dental care. Those arrangements may be more difficult when moving away from home. Many college students of any age don’t have dental insurance, live on limited funds, attend college far away from their regular dentist, and have schedules packed to the brim with classes and work, so even when considering dental care needs, many barriers stand in the way of getting them met.
