This is a quick assessment to help you reflect on your strengths and weaknesses of Essay 1 based on the requirements outlined in the prompt and peer review questions. Here are the questions I'd like you to answer. You can number the questions and responses or type your response in paragraph form.

  1. What do you need to revise for Essay 1?
  2. What did you do well in Essay 1?
  3. Are you struggling with writing about any of the Essay 1 concepts?
  4. Do your body paragraphs identify specific rhetorical strategies and/or appeals and accurately illustrate these strategies using examples from Adichie's Ted Talk?
  5. Is there anything you need from me as the instructor moving forward on Essay 1?
