This is a quick assessment to help you reflect on your strengths and weaknesses of Essay 4 based on the requirements outlined in the prompt and peer review questions. Here are the questions I'd like you to answer. You can number the questions and responses or type your response in paragraph form.
Answer the following questions if you chose the Option 1 prompt:
- What did you do well in Essay 4?
- Did you struggle with writing about any of the Essay 4 concepts?
- Do your body paragraphs identify specific reasons to support your thesis and use direct evidence from the in-class readings to support your points?
- Did you incorporate a counterargument? Did you struggle with that at all?
- Does your analysis in your body paragraphs thoroughly explain how the evidence helps to support your topic sentence and thesis?
- What was it like writing a long research essay? What did you find to be the most challenging? Did anything surprise you about the process? What is one key takeaway from the research process that you will use in the future?
- Anything else you'd like to add.

- What did you do well in Essay 4?
- Did you struggle with writing about any of the Essay 4 concepts?
- Does your conversation among your characters flow smoothly?
- Did you struggle to incorporate at least 3 different perspectives? Explain.
- Does your conversation thoroughly discuss your chosen topic?
- What was it like writing a long research dialogue essay? What did you find to be the most challenging? Did anything surprise you about the process? What is one key takeaway from the research process that you will use in the future?
- Anything else you'd like to add.

You will submit this short self-assessment via the assignment's text editor. To enter your response, select Submit.
This assignment will be a graded as Complete (with a checkmark) or Incomplete (with an "X").
Remember, for Self-Assessments, you must pass:
- 2 out of 4 for Grade Goal "C"
- 3 out of 4 for Grade Goal "B"
- 4 out of 4 for Grade Goal "A"
