Getting Started: What's on Tap for this Week?

Week 1 Bird's Eye View. Complete the Getting Started Module by Wednesday. Complete module 1 by Sunday

In week one, you'll cover both an introductory "Getting Started" module and our first content module (Module 1). 

I know you're excited to get started, but before we dive into Module 1 and begin discussing and developing essays, I'd like to provide you with a little bit of information to aid your success in the class, and I have a few tasks to complete in our Getting Started Module. These will likely take you about 1-2 hours, depending on your comfort with technology. The Getting Started module is designed to do three things:

  1. Show you how we're using Canvas in this course,
  2. Introduce you to your peers,
  3. Familiarize you with some of the resources that will make your learning journey easier and more rewarding.

Before Wednesday of this week, please plan to spend a few hours reading through the introductory material and getting to know your peers in our Meet and Greet assignment, then jump into Module 1 to learn more about rhetoric and composition!
