BIO: Michelle earned her doctorate in Educational Leadership and Management from Capella University and her Master’s in Art History from UC Riverside. She is a teacher at heart with a passion for humanizing online learning and has held faculty and staff roles in the CCC and CSU systems. She is the author of Best Practices for Teaching with Emerging Technologies, a blogger, a columnist at EdSurge and has an abundance of love for mini dachshunds. In her role with @ONE, Michelle engages emerging technologies to create community-rich professional development for the CCC’s diverse group of faculty.
Lené Whitley-Putz

BIO: Lené earned an MA in Composition from CSU, Chico, and a Ph.D. in Rhetoric and Communication from Rensselaer Polytechnic Institute. Lené has supported the training and course quality goals of the OEI for a number of years as the Training and Development Coordinator for @ONE. In addition to teaching for @ONE, she develops courses and workshops for CCC faculty focused on effective online teaching and course design. She has completed training with Quality Matters and the Online Learning Consortium and brings insights from these nationally acclaimed programs to continually improve professional development for CCC faculty and staff.

BIO: Anna has been with Canvas for about a year, the whole time serving as one of two CSMs dedicated to the OEI system.
Kelly Nichols

BIO: Kelly was born and raised in Salt Lake City, UT and graduated from the University of Utah with a degree in Business Management. He now lives just outside of Salt Lake with his wife and three young kids. Kelly joined Instructure in August of 2018. He is excited to be working with Canvas and the OEI network.
