Why is online tutoring important?

Research has shown a correlation between the use of tutoring and student success and persistence. Online tutoring services are designed to complement on-ground college tutoring services whose reach may be limited due to hours-of-operation, geographic distance from students, staffing, or other access and resource limitations.

NetTutor is a 24/7 online tutoring service that offers synchronous, on-demand professional tutoring for a range of academic subjects including English, Mathematics, Computer Science, Allied Health, and much more. In addition to live tutoring, NetTutor offers writing support through Paper Center which allows students to submit papers for review and comment with a 24-48 hour turnaround. NetTutor services are customizable and flexible – designed to adapt to the unique needs of individual colleges and their students. NetTutor also integrates with the LMS, including Canvas, for a seamless experience for students, instructors, and administrators.
