Copyright

Everything that is committed to a hard-copy medium is copyrighted.  Although the copyright laws have not changed much since the Copyright Act of 1976 (Title 17 of the United States Code) was put into law, there have been a few changes.  One is that the copyright symbol does not need to be present in order for something to be copyrighted.
