Knewton (Alta)

Description:

Knewton-Alta is closely integrated with OpenStax Principles of macroeconomics and principles of microeconomics textbooks. Knewton-Alta generates interactive quizzes for each chapter. Faculty have the option of determining the sections of each chapter that he/she is going to assign as homework and for testing.  Knewton-Alta generates interactive homework and quiz questions for those specific sections of a chapter.  The questions are algorithmic and adaptive.

Benefits:

Knewton-Alta generates homework and exams questions based on the chapter sections that a faculty is covering. Before exams, Knewton-Alta provides a test review center, which allows students to prepare for the upcoming exam. Knewton-Alta also has the capability of generating pooling questions, which generates different set of questions for each student.

Another unique capability of Knewton-Alta is generating homework or exam/quiz questions for each learning and sub-learning objective of a chapter. Therefore, if a specific sub-learning objective of a chapter is not covered, then knewton-Alta doesn’t generate questions for this sub-learning objective.

Knewton-Alta provides technical support to the faculty. Through Knewton-Alta website, faculty can chat with the technical support team to get assistance.
