Links to an external site.There are no OER textbooks that directly address Forensics, however, COMM 120: Argumentation or Argumentation and Debate page has books and resources that can be a starting point in curating/creating an OER book. In addition, two following new OERI RFP grant-supported books might be good starting points in curating a Forensic textbook.
The first edition of Arguing Using Critical Thinking a 12-chapter OER text- equivalent for Argumentation and Debate (C-ID COMM 120) by Jim Marteney has just been published, with assistance from an ASCCC-OERI grant.
How Arguments Work (Links to an external site.): A New OER textbook for Argumentative Writing and Critical Thinking (C-ID English 105) by Anna Mills has just been published, with assistance from an ASCCC-OERI grant.
- Ancillaries under development and will be ready by Spring 2021
