All about the Book

In this video, an educator discusses the parts of a book and the author and illustrator of a book with a group of children at circle time. The educator provides expansion and clarification by providing information and scaffolding children's learning through hints. She also offers language modeling by using novel words and repeating and extending the children's responses. The children demonstrate interest and appreciation of the book.
