Campus Assessment, Resources, and Education (CARE)

Get help finding resources on- and off-campus to support your basic needs such as food, housing, mental health, transportation, financial assistance, legal aid, and more. Complete a CARE Referral to be connected to a CARE team member Links to an external site. to receive one on one support in identifying resources that will meet your basic needs such as food, housing, mental health, financial assistance, legal aid, and more. Our team will outreach directly to you by phone or email to schedule an appointment to explore your needs.

  

Apply for an Emergency Grant Links to an external site.

Currently enrolled students may apply for a one-time $500 grant to receive financial assistance to support basic needs while funds are available. Students are eligible to apply each semester if currently enrolled.

     

Apply to Borrow Technology Devices Links to an external site.

Currently enrolled students may complete a Student Technology Request form to borrow technology devices including laptops and mobile hotspots from the MiraCosta Library. Students are eligible to apply each semester if currently enrolled.

Access FREE Groceries Links to an external site.

Attend our Drive-Thru Farmer’s Market event every 2nd Monday (Main Oceanside Campus) and 3rd Wednesday (Community Learning Center) of each month to receive free food. All currently enrolled students are welcome to attend and should be prepared to bring or know their student ID number.
