Below is an example of a table that has both column cell headers and row cell headers.
Consider using light background colors to differentiate specific cells. (Ensure there is enough color contrast of your text color and background color - lighter colors are best with Canvas' default black text.)
In the example below, yellow is used as a "call-to-action" for students. Green is used to determine there are no assignments.
