What/Why Communities of Practice?

Practice Communities are a way for:

1. Develop a method of regularly sharing best practices and having a network to problem-solve,

2. Have a forum for faculty to participate in as a part of a community,

3. Allow the RDEE to share state and local changes and resources that otherwise may not be shared directly with faculty,

4. Discuss faculty development needs so that the Regional Director of Employment Engagement (RDEE) for Health (Wendy Deras) can be more responsive to faculty/staff needs.

5. Develop one easy to navigate site as an information repository, a meeting scheduling tool (calendar), and portal for Zoom Practice Community meetings.
