3. Health Science Programs Have Different Point System Admission Requirements

Not all two programs are alike when it comes to admission into that program.  For example, Radiology Technology will most likely have similar pre-requisite courses across many community colleges but there will also be some differences in the pre-requisites. Also, consider that the general education is going to be different from college to college because graduation requirements are set by each college.  Hence, the point system for the student will vary from college to college.  there's a wide variance of the point distribution.  Also, I've seen come colleges give extra points for taking foreign language courses or speaking another language while others may give extra points for having prior healthcare experience.  Thus, recommend that students attend information sessions or meet with their academic counselor.
