How long will the micro-courses be available?
The content will be available indefinitely. If you have registered for any of the @ONE micro-courses through Catalog, you will be notified by email if there are any changes to the content availability beforehand.
How long will it take to go through the course material?
This micro-course is self-paced and includes videos, quizzes, and activities. This micro-course is a self-paced course. There will be no facilitators. Plan to commit at least an hour for each module. Each module may vary considerably in length and complexity. Participants who are familiar with PowerPoint may progress faster. Unfortunately, it is difficult to predict individual time commitment.
What background do I need?
This course assumes prior knowledge of basic accessibility principles; however, there are opportunities for review. PowerPoint familiarity is not needed. It is helpful to be familiar with Canvas. If you need additional Canvas support, please see the various Canvas Guides and Canvas Helpline.
Do I need to buy a textbook/course materials?
All lecture and most activities are published in this Canvas micro-course. However, you will need access to the newest version of Microsoft PowerPoint. Please check with your school or get Office 365 for free as an educator. Office 365 Education includes Word, Excel, PowerPoint, OneNote, and now Microsoft Teams, plus additional classroom tools.
