Accessibility Checking

Accessibility Checking

LibreTexts provides tools in the MindTouch toolbar for automated accessibility reviews.

Accessing the Automated Accessibility Checker

Step 1: Click on the accessibility icon - the icon is the last one on the right side of the menu.

You can choose the issues you want the CKEditor Accessibility Checker to look for in the next step.

Step 2: Select the accessibility issues to be checked.

The default is to check for all issues, but you can ask the checker to look for individual items.

Step 3: Review errors and quick fixes.

Quick Fixes are suggestions that you may or may not want to implement. The example below shows an error (in this case, missing alt text for an image) and a way to immediately fix the error.
