Starting Your Remix
Starting Your Remix
Step 1 - Log into LibreTexts
- Go to the main page of LibreTexts Links to an external site. (https://libretexts.org) and from the top menu click on “Explore the Libraries” Select the Library for your discipline and click on it.
- Then log in to gain access to your sandbox. To do so enter your username (usually your .edu email address) and password. The log-in bar will change from gray to black once you’ve successfully logged in. If the bar does not change to black, you do not have editing permissions.
Step 2 - Access Your LibreTexts Sandbox
Once you are logged into LibreTexts with editing permissions, you will be able to access your sandbox. Your LibreTexts sandbox is an individual space created just for you in which you can edit and create content. If you have successfully logged in with editing permissions, the log-in bar will change from gray to black as shown below.
Note: Notice that you have access to additional editing tools once you’ve logged in that can be used to edit and create content in your sandbox.
To access your sandbox, click on your name in the log-in bar and select it from the dropdown list. For a detailed explanation of the editing tools and capabilities, see Toolbar and Drop-Down Menus.
Step 3 - Access the Remixer
Once you are logged in with edit access and in your sandbox, to get to the remixer:
