Lime CC is a small and rural college with a relatively small number of faculty and far fewer general education options than are normally seen. Upon an analysis of the college’s general education options, it is determined that a number of general education areas are not being adequately served. In other words, more sections of courses in specific general education areas are needed to meet projected student need. This isolated college has limited access to part-timers and does not have qualified faculty to simply address the need by offering more sections of existing courses. The curriculum committee has been tasked with developing a comprehensive plan to meet the need.
