Purposeful Equity Language Review of Job Description

1. Use assest-minded, equity-minded, and diversity inclusive language instead of deficit-minded language
2. Align job announcement with clearly define institutional values
3. Describe student population and expectations of faculty around both minimum qualifications
4. Use Center for Urban Education (CUE) rubric or a equity word search activity to assess job description
5. Link announcement to a clear equivalency process
