What MODEL ACTIVITY could we use?
Below is an example of one activity you may use or tailor to your local campus or district to begin an EQUIVALENCY PROCESS with equity, diversity, and inclusion in mind for hiring:
Adopt Equivalency Portfolio
- Review CTE MQ Toolkit
- Provide space for faculty to dialogue about equity and equivalency
- Design and adopt a model equivalency portfolio and standards (sample found on page 28 in CTE MQ Toolkit)
- Use GE equivalency worksheet as a guide for standards (see page 30 in CTE MQ Toolkit)
