Using open in your classroom

In this module you will learn how about accessibility, Universal Design for Learning (UDL) and Open Educational Practices (OEP).  You will be learn how to:

  • Recognize the major principles of universal design
  • Create accessible content
  • Evaluate content for accessibility
  • Describe and give examples of Open Educational Practices (OEP)
  • Create an OER by curating or adapting existing OER

Assignments

The assignments for this module:

  2. Exercise  - Create or curate content. This activity will be your introduction to content curation. 
  3. Discussion - OER Myths. This discussion is our opportunity to discuss some myths about OER.
